This game is easily a top 5 3D platformer, so why don't more people talk about it?

That always had a really unique feel to it, started to feel more like an adventure game really
it's barely even a platformer, the focus isn't on platforming in the same way a game like Crash is. most 3D platformers are in actuality collectathons
Ape escape is genuinely so amazing. It sucks that they didn't keep up with it. The first 3 games were mostly iterative, but with some innovation and new ideas this couldve been a mainstay like Gran Turismo was for PS. God I love Ape Escape.

It's fun in a very visceral, simple way that doesn't lend itself to protracted conversation.It's also pretty much universally regarded as one of the best platformers on the PS2 without much debate, as opposed to something like Super Mario Sunshine which invites a lot of arguments about its place in the series due to being a mixed bag of great ideas and unfortunate flaws.The most interesting thing about Ape Escape 3 to talk about is the fact that it is one of the absolute best lolicon games of all time, and so for better or worse any conversation about it inevitably drifts towards that.However, I would like to point out a fact that many people overlook, which is that it is in my opinion, also one of the best MILF games of all time. Holy shit Akie is so hot.
