>>12647232This is true. I was around in those years and I most play SNES/Genesis and Dreamcast/Gamecube/PS2. The best games in the late 90's between those times were handheld games like Game Boy Color.
When I was a wee lad I had a playstation and a friend of mine had the N64, when I went to his house and played Mario 64 it blew my mind. Of course playing it now it must feel completely outdated, but at the time it felt like a big step up, the Playstation could never do open world stuff like that

I loved having syphon filter, parappa, ffix, tomba, and armored core to play with instead of replaying my games over and over.
