Easy, but goes from ridiculously easy to moderately challenging in the last stage of the game. Not that it's any reason not to play it. Great game.

The fact that you can't go back to previous levels to get all the collectibles completely ruins it for me. Fine game but locking content behind 100% completion that you have to get on your first run just kills my motivation to play through it.

Letting their games just be magical and strange made for some cool stuff instead of trying to tap into a typical genre of "fantasy, sci fi, military , etc.
