Treasure trove of hidden gems.

Most hidden gems are experimental titles like Germs, or sim city liked that nobody plays but like to post the boxart
>>12653554Chase the Express/Covert Ops: Nuclear DawnIt's like Resident Evil x Metal Gear Solid made by (what would later become, alongside a dozen other dev studios) Japan Studio. It's set on a train thundering through Europe, and you go around doing puzzles and shooting terrorists. It's not too long either, you could bang it out in a day or two easy. Great sound design and atmosphere. It's perfect if you're in the mood for something comfy.

>>12653540More like garbage bin of abandoned control schemes. Every "hidden gen" on PS1 plays like the devs saw a PS1 controller a week before shipping the game
>>12653696GOOD.Bespoke control schemes are fucking cool and interesting. I hate booting up a game and instantly knowing how it controls, that's fucking boring. Have some creativity, reject optimisation.

>>12653658>read the wikiDon't do that. Don't kill discussion dead because you're lazy/feeling petty. If you don't wanna talk about some niche games just don't say anything at all. This whole "go read X" mentality in arguments is cancer.>Hurr durr spoonfeedingIt's a board for the discussion of retro video games. Come on man, fucking discuss them.
>>12653724Every time you effort post and name games for anons they act like niggers and say "hah thats all slop"
>>12653730When has this ever happened?
One of these days I’m gonna finish little Ralph.
>>12653696It's funny how those Fromsoft games go "use shoulder buttons to look up and down"
>>12653696Can we cool it on the shit posting. I’m sure there’s a psx game you like and you don’t actually have a seething grudge for a 30 year old console.
>>12653869The game is like 45 minutes long man
There is a PS1 or PS2 game for everyone.
