Crazy that we never get this thread.They even deleted the last one for some reason.I'll start:OG tier: Shove it!Kino: Adventures of Lolo 1-3Not a fucking puzzle game tier: Dr Mario, le hecking Lebbings :DDDD, any chink card game or imitation of tabletop/casino games;
no need for the racismi liked Columns, it's a good 'zler
>Adventures of Lolo is a puzzle game>but not LemmingsThey're both action-puzzle games, the hell is this stupidity?
>>12670178It's fun but let's not pretend like it's a puzzle game
>>12670190>They're both action-puzzle gamesNope. Neither of them are. But Lemmings IS a puzzle game or at least tactics/strategy if you wanna be pedantic. No action though
>>12670178There was also that "zip up the screen until you get 90% of the picture unlocked while a monster if flying around" on SEGA. Lost genre. Also not a puzzle though
I was a brainlet at puzzles so a few years ago I forced myself to complete a random flash game of Sokoban with like 200 levels. on-topic, how about pic related?
>>12670160Man I'm sure the game is fine and all, but I can't see myself wanting to rent that as a kid. A game about pushing boxes, wow. I'd rather play a game about the hot girl and car, like Outrun.
>>12671791is that ps1 or something?
>>12671808Back then you usually didn't have that much choice and I'm sure it was cheaper also. Also in third world shitholes like I'm from you would have pirated cartridges with 15 GAMES IN ONE and so you'd probably have such games in one of those. Especially since they are probably less memory heavy
>>12671808>I'd rather play a game about the hot girl and car, like Outrun. That's my headcanon now: Outrun is the sequel to Shove It, when Stevedore finally got the car and dream girl from shoving all those crates.
>>12671910It fits the ending. I checked and he really does get the girl and the car, it's not just something on the box like I assumed.
>>12671926>I wanna go to FloridaWhere do you think he was originally?
>>12670160I wonder how realistic it is to be solving a sokoban type puzzle when you're moving crates in a warehouse
>>12671926dammn it really does fit>>12671943I guess it had to be a city with a port since he works at the docks.
>>12671926>hard work pays offBeautiful message, nothing like that nowadays
>>12670160Nigga is Mahjong part of this discussion or not?
>>12670160Neves DS is one of the best puzzle games I ever played. 2007 so kinda counts as ret
>>12672135>chink tabletop gameabsolutely fucking not.
>>12672150I hope this is ironic. Actually wasted my time looking up this shit
>>12671962China has forklifts with irl tank controls and strafing, i don't think they've caught on in the west but they at least CAN play sokoban and get paid for it.
>>12672206whats the issue?
obligatory fire n ice post
>>12672150>retardedfinish the last half of the word you subhuman zoomoid
>>12672375nah u cappin fr 07 retty af
Banana for NES is the greatest puzzle game
bumping with the most insane level my daughter made for me so far; took me 15 minutes to guide all of them to baloons.
>>12671962Mostly with loading containers, or the warehouse is overloaded and you have to shift product around in a way that isn't too obstructive.
>>12672292it's only challenging for 5 year olds...
>>12672607you cleared it? before vidya everyone played those tangram puzzles. they can be tough
>>12672373
Kickle Cubicle is my jam! Mainly because it's cute as fuckAlso love the Puzzle Boy (Kwirk, Amazing Tater) series, but man is it tricky!
>>12670160>DreamWorksWTF they made games for the Genesis?
>>12672834huh, I never noticed. thats weird
>>12672834Funnily enough, they renamed to "Danger Close" before shutting down. The company logo tells it all.
>>12670215Volfied. aka Ultimate Qix.I'm still bitter they cancelled Gal's Panic for the CD.
>>12672834>>12672881>>12673065Not the same company. This one was just a short-lived Sega Genesis game publisher. They were already gone before the film studio known by the name was created.
>>12673104Literally none of the Qix games have ever been bad in my opinion
>>12672135>>12672202A compromise already exists for that, you dumbasses.
>>12672771I beat Kickle Cubicle the other day and it was okay, not very hard though I only played the first loop. Second loop seems much harder.
>>12673104>VolfiedAh yes, thta's the one. What a weird fucking name tho, no one would ever remember either one
>>12673218So Katzenberg and Spielberg stole the name from an obscure game publisher??!!
>>12673780>Xberg and Yberg stole Z??!!More likely than you think
>>12671905It's a minigame in a hidden gem ps2 jRPG renowned for its deep plot and mature storyline
>>12673463whats the compromise?
>>12670160Lemmings is awesome, sorry you're a pathetic incel faggot.
>>12675773It's mahjong solitaire rules.
>>12672135Only if it's those weird Japanese exclusive strip mahjong games on Sega Saturn.
>>12677410Not saying it's bad, just don't call it a puzzler
>>12677442It is a puzzler you stupid retard.
>>12670160How can you be so fucking stupid as to think Lemmings isn't a puzzle game?
>>12677456it's a real time strategy game.
>>12677458This
Load Runner was a great experience.I'm not big on puzzless but this one grabbed me as a kid.I have the main character and walking and drill move sounds etched in my mind.Fuck International Edition though which needs you to know its glitches to clear the scenarios. The GBA one been fun too.
>>12677442>>12677458What a bizarre way to try to troll a thread out of existence.
>>12677752I never really thought of Lode Runner as a puzzle game. But I guess when it comes to Championship Lode Runner, it kind of is. The original 150 levels was mostly a lot of run and grab stuff, nowhere near the amount of planning in clearing a CLR screen.
>>12677873Some people look at a platformer and see an (re)action game, others a memorization puzzle. I remember how flabbergasted I was when I looked up a guide to git good in bubble bobble and it said nothing about the strategy, it was just a list of steps to beat each level (go to this square, shoot, go there, wait for the monsters to come here, etc)
>>12671910>>12671926He really made it.>>12671943That looks like a desert, and he works at the docks, so I presume that he's in Texas.>>12672084We live in more cynical times, but also it's far fucking harder to make money on labor now, the dollar (and other currencies) is worth way less, and wages for laborers and workers have not scaled with time, combined with everything getting more expensive and always trying to skin you for extra money. It's very sad and somber that what was once a realistic, humble, and simple goal (honest labor paying for living a basic life), is increasingly falling out of the ordinary man's grasp.
>>12677458>it's a real time strategy game. It's not you fag
>>12678404>It's very sad and somber that what was once a realistic, humble, and simple goal (honest labor paying for living a basic life)Wouldn't call sports car and a high end escort basic life lol
>>12677752>>12677873Is that.... Atari?
is Moai Kun a puzzle game?
>>12678952>mario cloneYeah I wonder...
>>12678841The first one posted is Nes.GBA one is pretty cool.>>12677873Well to me it was like a puzzle. Is strange when ganes have mini puzzless about finding the exit but not a full name.
>>12677873weirdly I like the graphics on this
>>12678838That's a convertible sedan and a non-descript woman. Your imagination is getting the best of you.
>>12682545The manual says he needed to get "the hottest, most luxurious sports car ever made" to win the babe, but yeah looking at the car I feel like the car dealer might have scammed him. It got him the babe though.
Sutte Hakkun
>>12678952Yes, it's a puzzle game with light platformingit's great btw in case you were wondering. Good progressive difficulty curve, never pulls shit that requires a walkthrough that the player could never have guessed.
>>12682556Maybe he just had some clarity and decided to settle for a more practical car.
>>12682618>warehouse worker>poorfag mentalitymany such cases.
