Boo Diddly from Mario’s Picross
Cat Boo from Tecmo Secret Of The Stars A Fantasy
Leela from Logic Pro
>>12674357these games are so fun, probably the most fun I've had gaymin in fucking years. Picross 2 is good but does the whole 'split into 4 panels' thing which is pretty gay and makes the puzzles much easier imo. (Although this isn't as much of an issue in Pokemon Picross).Mario no Picross on the SNES is pretty gud and avoids the split pannel faggotry. The rest of the SNES picross games that released until around 2000 are also pretty fun, and all combined the GB and SNES picross games can pretty much keep you occupied for months.I fucking love picross man.

>>12674357>Boo "Diddly"Who is is this character? Is he a specific boo? Has he appeared in other games? Is Picross canonical?
>>12675270It's what the enemy was originally called in SMB3. SMW onward just calls it a Boo Buddy or simply just Boo.
>>12675279Oh yeah, I forgot about that.
>>12675279>>12675290There's a prototype leak for SMW that showed they wanted to continue the "joke" in World by calling the Big Boo "Boo Jackson".
>>12675418Heh. Cute. Thanks for that.
>>12674357Blud Diddy
>>12674357Mario + Egyptian aesthetic is top kino.
>>12675403I guarantee you 99% of modern Mario players don't understand these references.

For me, it's Logic Pro. I can't get into picross if it's not coin-operated. Otherwise, it feels like there is no incentive to solve the puzzle.
>>12675587Is this an arcade game? Is it supported in MAME?
How fucking bored do you need to be to actually play this shit? This is more dry than crossword puzzles in the newspaper.
>>12675673You don’t like thinking very much, do you?
>>12675673it's ok to be a brainlet anon-kun but you don't have to brag about it
>>12675714>>12675770>I am...le smart...>My le sophisticated brain fucking loves staring at a static screen and le pondering...You fags should try playing an actual video game sometime.

>>12675241Yeah Picross is pretty cool. I've only played the DS one, that seems to be a good one though, it's got some nice big puzzles and isn't quite new enough to have that weird post-Wii super-friendly kiddie UI styling that a lot of Nintendo games have now. Sudoku (which has many "retro" video game adaptations, for example on the GBA) is cool and fun in kinda the same way, but without the satisfaction of making a picture, and without the puzzle variety that stems from the fact that all puzzles are characterized by outside content (the pictures in Picross) and so will tend to have a different feeling from one to the next
>>12675865Picross is a really good and fun puzzle until you become especially skilled at it, which I guarantee you personally are not if you haven't tried the game. There are some relatively subtle strategies in it that you wouldn't come up with immediately, and that you must therefore gradually learn (this is the fun part) while playing the game. It does get old once you ARE good at it though, since there's only so much depth that a given Picross puzzle can possibly have, and once a person starts to tire of it he/she may need to move on. (There are lots of other puzzle games, many with video game adaptations, that can restore stimulation: https://logic-puzzle.fandom.com/wiki/Category:Genresor you could, yes, just play a car-racing game or something.)
>>12675673>dry[er] than crossword puzzles in the newspaper>he doesn't comprehend that expanding your thinking feels good. solving puzzles feels good.Fags like you are why Japan didn't localize as much as they could have.
>>12675593indeed my good sir, have a look. The highlight is the end where the solution is revealed. It's fun to look up what the puzzle was especially if it's not immediately clear like this one was: あみだくじ
>>12676173I desperately want Mr. T to be in a Ghostbusters movie.
>>12676173I need this with audio

>>12679015Yeah, and?
>>12674357wow i know that guy
>>12675270I dunno, but we need to have SERIOUS topics about pic related.
>>12675270I assume the name is a play on "Boo Radley" of "To Kill a Mockingbird", a reclusive character who is symbolically invisible (like a ghost). "Boo Diddly" does make him sound like he diddles kids for fun though.
>>12682957>I assume the name is a play on "Boo Radley" of "To Kill a Mockingbird"Well you're probably wrong, because Bo Diddley was a musician.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ap8JtQZG73M
>>12682973Yeah, they were definitely referencing musicians in SMB3 and SMW (even Morton Downey Jr was a singer, despite not being remembered as such)
>>12683538>brought to you by the makers of KH: Chain of Memories, Game Boy Camera, and Sonic Battle
>>12683864Holy shit, no way. Imagine if we got a original 3D Mario platformer on the Game Boy Advance?
