Thoughts on the Sakura Taisen series on the Sega Shitturn?

I had a notebook binder with a complete script of the game printed off from Gamefaqs. I played through the entire game with that notebook in my lap. It's a pretty good, kinda a dating sim visual novel mixed with a mecha strategy game. I never got around to playing the sequel, I don't think it had been translated at the time. It's one of the better Japanese Saturn exclusives but I can kinda understand why Sega didn't think this series would sell outside of Japan.

I got into the series right before the coof hit and the translation was still a few weeks away for the og game, and I've yet to run into anyone spoutting such degeneracy.

>>12680052EOPs can't play the PS2 version because it isn't translated. Aside from that, there are a few purists who dislike the PS2 remake since it has the same combat system as the third game. If you do not fall into that category, there is no reason to play the saturn version over the PS2 version.
