DKC trilogy was better on SNES.Castlevania COTM, Sword of Mana and Metroid Fusion are pretty good on GBA.Portable is underrated. You need to be able to play in bed easily. You can play both on phone now with a controller.Personally I hate the Snes. But Sega is putting african american rappers in Stranger than Heaven, so Sega isn't the good guys anymore. And if they ever turn bad they were always bad kind of.

GBA isn't great but the SNES is a piece of shit so the GBA looks like a dream in comparison. Plus most of the SNES games anyone cares about are on GBA.

So GBA arguably on a hardware level but actually SNES overall because of the better resolution and more original games. GBA games are more polished though. It also has a lot of remakes/remasters, both are great systems overall.

You had to use processor power to handle audio in software, or stream the audio from data and send it as 2 channel. In the SNES, the streaming options are almost non-existant, but the entire 8-channel sound system operated independent of the cpu and is handled with no main processing cost.and what in God's name did they pick for the GBA such a garbage noisy crunchy DAC chip for, and then the nerve to re-use it in the DS?anyways, despite the impression the big N was clearly ok to let people try to infer on the SNES's coattails, the GBA really as a system is different enough to compare more to the N64 than the SNES.
