a beautiful pool
>>12681419The reflection pool bit was really fun to witness over the course of the weekend.
I'm no longer holding back on the foliage
>>12682567Good. More foliage = more gooder
>>12682587nothing bad can happen with more foliage, it can only good happen.
>>12682567nice progression
>>12682567I'm really excited to play this. I hope everyone stays constricted to just the main platforms and leaves the landscape untouched
>>12685387I'll do my best
HE CAN'T KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH IT
>>12685557Vgh... It looks SO GOOD. Fuck. We're not going to be getting these for at least 6 months, aren't we?
>>12685557I saw it in the other post but even that up 45 degree turn is new aswell right. You can't even tell the parts that are modded. Really skilled guy
>>12685557>large turn for steep slopesholy shit
>>12685557I wish we had the ability to have overbanked turns or multiple banking angles
>>12685557I'm having a literal anime orgasm right nowFull on ahegaoear-piercing screeching
>>12682567Based path-shader.
>>12682567>Double railingsYikes. Try again.
The Hanging Gardens of Anonylonhttps://files.catbox.moe/jfc5hi.parkI'm real happy with how this one turned out. The intention was to give you limited area but the actual temple is pretty boring, its largely flat, so i wont hold it against you if you go into the forest.I fucked up one of my custom objects and had to spend a bunch of time messing around to fix it, so hopefully it all works properly. As per usual it doesn't have added items
>>12686350amazing
>>12685557It's been so long, I've waited so long for this game to get stuff like this. This is the future I want.
>>12686350I love it
>>12686350thanks, map-anon. I'll add objects and host it up tonight.
Map hosted.72.31.18.168:11753
I cannot stop messing with the racing coaster. If it isn't perfectly timed, I can't let it go.
a question about the RCT games on Steamis Rollercoaster Tycoon Classic the newest version of the game? and does it contain everything from RC1 and 2 plus expansions?
>>12687365Correct, but if you're on PC, there isn't really a reason to play that over OpenRCT2 (using the original games) except for maybe the scenarios.
>>12687365Well it's that I noticed OpenRCT2 works on RCT2 files. Unless someone tried applying it on RC Classic?
>>12687395I believe you can use RCT Classic to install OpenRCT2.
>>12687395I believe you cannot use RCT Classic to install OpenRCT2
>>12687365Classic is just an all-in-one package that was made for mobile platforms. It's pretty much the same as having any other version with all expansions (deluxe, triple thrill pack)
>>12687395I believe RCT Classic is a game
>>12687395I believe
hmmm
>>12687814CLEAN IT UP JANNY
>>12687814I'm gonna be sick
>>12687769I believe in a thing called love
Since we have pretty much filled up this map, would you guys like to run a smaller RCT1 map on Sunday? There are plenty of maps that we rarely play because they wouldn't last a weekend.
>>12688950I wouldn't be against it, there isn't much else to do in this one, what if we went for something like a one day run of Lightning Peaks or Sprightly Park with the rides and borders removed?
>>12688950maybe big pokey park with buying all the land around the roads and rights over the roads?
>>12689062Okay, but only if you don't do THAT again.
>>12689068>>12689068>https://files.catbox.moe/emxj61.parkI modified it so all the land is either bought or has construction rights but has no additional rides or scenery items. I just kinda wanna see what could be done in the leftover space since the land is quite big and dinky park is... not very.

>>12689081ended up loving this one
The boats going down the canal are really inspired
>>12689081I didn't get to do much on Friday but I'm glad I contributed with Apollo's Chariot and some pathing/scenery. Some areas look insanely fucking cool.
>>12689081>Hall of Cost>Sells entirely overpriced gold products
>>12689138Thanks. I was worried that it was going to be too shitposty when I was building it but it turned out pretty good.
I added a log flume but didn't decorate around it if anyone else happens to want to. I had some stuff come up, but I was able to get the food court and stuff done before I left.
>>12688286I do believe in Captain Crunch, for I am the Frizzle Fry.
>>12690065I bought some bacon flavored soda to drink later on while listening to Pork Soda. It's going to taste like shit.
>>12689081This park really Ruined Myaenus.
Whoever built the new entrance plaza, God bless you. I severely cocked up when I flattened everything and couldn't work out what I was going to do with the space. Interesting choice to keep all the rides in the temporary locations. Feels like park now at least! It's a small thing but I like the funky architecture of the glass and metal concession stand across the highway.
Having some connectivity issues to the server. It takes forever to load then disconnects immediately.
>>12690484Let me reset it and we'll see if that helps.
>>12690484Give it a try now.
>>12690505Worked that first time but gave me that lag glitch. Tried to rejoin and it did this again. Disconnected after about a minute stuck on this screen but does load the park.
>>12685557Whenever I see these videos posted, I think the guy behind them is a dick.
>>12690670He's actually severely autistic and depressed. Spends most of his awake time crying and plotting ways to an hero. A real perfectionist and obviously very skilled at what he does.
I don't fully understand the host's love for the RCT1 train cars. As soon as I got RCT2 as a child I couldn't really go back other than the soulful maps. The animations being choppier, overall less useful, and less faithful to the real life trains they are based on does me in. I'm sure it's a personal preference.
Finished my megapark /vr/
>>12691183How long did this take you? Incredible work!
>>12691208I started the project not long after I got my copy of the game from the Scholastic Bookfair around 2003.
>>12691371That's wild, congratulations!!!

>>12691423this was a fun one off, thanks to whoever fixed up my water slide.
>>12689081Couldn't join on this weekend, but this looks really nice!>>12691423This too!
>>12690723If that's true then Christ.>>12691183Fucking kek, great reference.
>>12691183this is the moon from Majora's Mask
>>12690830I like adding them so we have options. Dinky Park came with them because it is a RCT1 map overall, but I always add the RCT1 2-seat inverted coaster trains (looks cool), the classic stand-up (looks cool), the classic wooden coaster (shallow banked turns), classic mini (steep drops make it a completely different ride than junior coaster), and classic looping (looks really cool)
>>12692468I like that you keep them because sometimes I will arbitrarily chose to use them over the RCT2 ones.
>>12692468I wish the RCT2 PTC train sprites aligned themselves properly with the shallow banked turns. I wish you could use the shallow turns interchangeably in general.OpenRCT2 has a long way to go to reach true perfection.I should learn how to code.
>>12693046Good luck because it's literally physically impossible to do without rendering an entire new set of identical sprites
>>12693180I'm aware, but I can use Blender and Photoshop. C++ is my only hurdle
If i could figure out how to do it I'd make a plugin to recreate the RCT3 auto-complete feature for coasters. I always liked using it to get a visual on how I could end the ride. Plugins are made with javascript correct?
>>12693349You keep saying this and I really need to point out that's a non-trivial algorithm as evidenced by, even in RCT3, it spazzing out. Tile based makes it easy in some ways and harder in others.
>>12693489That makes sense. I have a feeling it would be more complicated than just plugging in a few lines of code.
what if we did pickle park this weekend?
>>12694330Pickled penis
>>12694971I'll pickle your penis
A thing i'm working on, it's Lucky Lake but it's SPOOKY. I feel limited on the terrain palette though because i follow a similar palette a lot of the time
>>12695843this is where the bodies of all of the drowned guests go
>>12693046We already have a lot of the really big things I wanted, including stuff that I never expected. Large steep-to-level transitions for a bunch of coasters, dive loops, zero-G rolls, native cheats, 6-car 6-person wooden coaster trains, the list goes on. I have no doubt that incredible things are possible because I have already seen them come to life.
>>12695843Please include the flesh terrain and objects from a few weeks ago, that would be sick here
>>12695843Do you want more time to work on this? I had other map ideas for the weekend if so.
>>12697284I don't want to dominate the map selection, so if you guys want to play other stuff that's cool
I'm about to make a workbench with all of our usual object files on it. Is there any custom objects or rides that you guys can't live without? I want to make sure I'm being thorough.
>>12697618I can't think of anything specific, but I like having as many path and terrain options as possible
If nobody has a map idea yet what about Gravity Gardens from the original RCT2 scenario set with boundaries and rides removed?
>>12698789also more rides because it only has coasters, I forgot to mention that.
>>12698789is this the map?
>>12698789What about Geoffrey Gardens?
>>12697938I'll be sure to include all of the new Mold stuff. I want this workbench to be a plug-and-play landscape. Just load it up and generate terrain from there. No need to add objects.
>>12699530I'd be fine with that, either or
Gravity Gardens hosted. 72.31.18.168:11753
God I love inverts so fucking much, bros.
>>12699615I like your loop placement.
>>12699602should we switch to free entry/paid rides or keep as is?
>>12699662Let's wait and see. I think we can make it profitable with this model.
>>12699671The real-time nature of running a Rollercoaster Tycoon map is doing the work for us. I went to bed and the park earned $100k while I was away.
>>12699660If you build a coaster, and you dont make a loop interlocking with something, did you really build a coaster?
>>12681419I know it's an irl joke reference but that looks great.
>>12681425Last call to sign up for this, we don't have enough people so unless more sign up we'll have to re-discuss game/DLCs we can do.
Don't you think you're forgetting something important here?
>>12701396There's an endangered bird living in the tree and the little shit won't be shooed.
>>12701409have you tried shooting it
I've lost control of my life
>>12701494Oooo
I had more fun with this map than I expected to

>>12702791A quick note. The upload with objects included errored out on Catbox, so this is the slim save.
While you losers were jerking off to virtual roller coasters all weekend, I was riding REAL ones.
>>12703406which ones
>>12703406post credit count nerd
>>12703990Not these ones ;_;
>>12704275What the fuck has been going on with Pantherion? I think it'd only operated for like one month out of the entire season.
>>12704275damn that sucks>>12704290I have that issue every time I've gone to Knoebels in Pennsylvania. Flying Turns has never been open at the same time I've gone.
>>12704275Fury 325 is bucket-list material. I grieve with you on your lost opportunity to ride such a magnificent machine.
>>12704275That sucks man.>be me, 2 years ago>fly to england to ride Hyperia>fucker is broken down the whole day I'm thereI hate Thorpe Park with a passion.A year later my job paid me to fly back to england for some bullshit reason so I got to ride it anyway. Short but sweet.
>>12704275>go to real life amusement park>roleplay as a peep
>>12704936>peep
>>12704936>Pantherion looks too intense for me!>I want to go on something more thrilling than The Great Pumpkin Coaster!
>>12704936>restroom 3 is too expensive
I'll make the new thread in like an hour, it's still not at the bottom of the catalogue but I'll be asleep around the time it 404s so I might as well make it before I go to sleep.
