What was the Space Invaders hype of 1978 like? Did you get to play it back then?
Space Invaders was so revolutionary that it single-handedly brought video games into pop culture, replacing pinballs at arcades.I'm not old enough to have played it at release though, my first Invader-like was Galaxian
