I just realized today that I didn't have my DualSense on my MiSTer set to poll at 1000Hz and I was playing with an additional 5ms of input latency and higher variance this whole fucking time.the fast usb polling script DOES NOT permanently apply 1000Hz polling, you have to manually add a line on the u_boot.txt file to tell MiSTer to always have 1000Hz polling active(also it should go without saying, but make sure you're using the 'low lag' v-sync option in the ini file)
