One of the coolest stories in a video game. Straight up ripping off manga and the matrix (which itself borrowed heavily from manga/anime from what I understand) and very cool cliche from that time period. Love it. I remember it being incredibly hard, I need to replay it since I haven’t beaten since release but I remember loving the absolute shit out of the story and using super powered arms in first person.
>>12683751The game starts off insanely difficult because they throw you to the wolves with none of your powers. Once you at least get the ability to block bullets then it really picks up. By the end you're so strong the final boss and gauntlet feel like a well deserved victory lap, at least for me that's how it went. Awesome game, kinda bad first impression starting you off so weak, but sticking with it is worth it.
