Not quite as dumb as the people who wrote erotic fanfics and drew pornographic cartoons of their favorite videogames characters - but almost. Now I barely have the attention span for a novel or an rpg. Anyway, videogames are fun.

>>12685720Honestly? Yes. Most RPGs have pretty bland plots. Ironically, point and click adventure games are usually written better and have a more natural pace of dialogue with full voice acting. And of course, most RPGs use tiny portraits to portray characters. Compare that to a visual novel or point and click adventure game with huge expressive characters on screen.Onto that, most RPGs have extremely bland gameplay, usually turn based. It really feels out of touch, and only a few games seem to get it right without feeling grindy. A lot of enemies in RPGs will feel completely disposable, and after a lot of games I can't seem to remember what each enemy did to differentiate itself.
