The Large Pizza has one VERY GOOD application in the game. It's the only healing item in the game (not talking about magic here, HP recovery items) that works simultaneously on all party members, even though its effect is programmed to be worthless for Poo. So why bother getting one, or two? TO EASILY PASS THROUGH THE NOTORIOUS FOURSIDE DEPARTMENT STORE SEQUENCE, WITH THOSE GOD-DAMN SCALDING HOT COFFEE CUPS that make everyone seethe. Large Pizzas Just Make The Healing Happen Fast, and they're quite effective on both Ness and Jeff, western characters.

If there are 2 (two) undeniable flaws of this game, flaw #1 would be the photographer guy popping up every two steps during the second half (it's extremely predictable what the photos are gonna be used for so it wasn't even a cool twist to begin with), and flaw #2 would be your dad pestering you to take a break and taking you out of the game. The second one especially, why the fuck would they put that in the game? He doesn't even show up after an abnormal amount of playtime. Earthbound is my favorite game of all time but both of these features sucked ass.
