New upcoming Lego Donkey Kong Arcade leaked. $200
Meanwhile this was $300 + $130Here's hoping for some Majora Mask love in the future
These adult collector’s sets and their prices are fucking ridiculous and they sure as hell can’t be that lucrative compared to their old castle, pirate, adventure and space sets.
>>12686753i think lego sucks.
>>12686753$200 for light blue lego spaceman, also comes with working pinball machine and light blue spacebaby.
>>12686770>they sure as hell can’t be that lucrative compared to their old castle, pirate, adventure and space sets.AHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAH
>>12686770At this point, licensed sets are the one thing that keeps LEGO in business. About their only original theme that gets any attention anymore is Ninjago.
>>12686770Anon...
when are we gonna get ecco the dolphin sets?
Sanic won by having normal playsets for kids instead of shelfslop for adults
>>12686830This reminds me of those Polly pocket things. The boy version was pretty cool but I can’t remember the name. I wonder if they ever made a game out of those toys.
not retro
>>12686943mighty maxexcept mighty max didnt cost $300 like that pokeball
>>12686753This was neat but with how much smaller the donkey kong one is I dont see it having such an elaborate technic mechanism to make things move
>>12686753>>12686767>>12686805>>12686830>>12686843Millennial consoomer manchildren were a mistake.
>>12687194A fool and his money are soon parted.
It'd be pretty cool if anyone made actual modern merch for retro shit. I liked those G1 style sprite pokemon plushies they made a little while ago but I can't think of much else. Also I'm not into these manbaby display piece lego sets at all, they're tedious as all hell to build with how overly detailed they are and none of them even do anything. The only set that's any appealing to me at all in this thread is >>12686936 because it looks like it'll take 20 mins to build tops and then I could fuck around with it for like an hour. Maybe scare my cat with it or something.
>>12686753More like $2000 when I flip them on ebay.
>>12686832That's a crying shame that they survive off of Star Wars and Harry Potter, their original themes are so much more interesting.
This one looks pretty cool but even at 45 dollars seems kind of expensive but aren’t legos a super hot item now? All I know about current Lego is all the drama w reckless Ben and the cops coordinating w a ceo to get him arrested when he tried to help someone get their Pokemon or Star Wars legos back? Anyway if this were 20 bucks I’d probably get it.
>>12686804came here to say this. I love donkey kong but have no desire for this block slop
>>12687248Funny because that’s the only way Disney can make money w Star Wars after killing its own cash cow w the movies. You’d think they’d be desperate to license out the brand to game devs and output games like lucasarts did in the 90s.
>>12687249You can get a bootleg for $12.
>>12687258That’s pretty funny
>>12687194>Millennial derangement syndromesad
>>12687249The only time I'm not mad at stickers
>>12687672Not mad at stickers?
>>12687682Yeah, cus it's accurate to real cartridges
>>12687258Would be funny as hell if they'd do a whole line that includes shit like the Gamate, Mega Duck and a 9999 IN 1 BRICK GAME handheld.
>>12687687Oh I see what u mean.
>>12687258I just put that together with my kid. Pretty good for 12 dollar bucks
