It's a shame that LAN had to be cut though, me and a buddy both had gamecube broadband adapters and could have actually played it.I spent enough time with GX in particular as a kid that I was able to beat every GP on Master difficulty and every story mode stage except the last. Back then I had far fewer games, I would not have the patience for that today.I was lucky enough to stay at a hotel with an arcade that had an AX machine when I went on vacation in the US with my dad and sister, and I was seriously tempted to get my mom to fed-ex me my memory card so I could unlock the AX content more easily. I think you simply had to place 1st on any track with a character in AX to unlock them on GX if you had your memory card plugged in.
