What's the best faction to join for a first time playthrough?
Just be a retard and try to be an autistic heroPlay it like you're the chosen one lmao
>>12690314>for a first time playthrough?just wait for the upcoming remake, it will render the OG obsolete just like Gothic 1 remake did
>>12690337>obsolete>on UnrealshitNot even remotely.
>>12690314Mercenaries.
>>12690314>bestidk lol>coolest and most immersivemonks

>>12690314Extremely low effort, Anon, did you have to leave for arbeiten in a rush?>best faction to join for a first time playthroughHonestly best advise I can give is to play Gothic 2 W I T H O U T the expansion. Night of the Raven was made for sweatlords to address a "content draught" and because the game was too easy for obsessed min-maxers.Base game is easy, any faction is fine, pick whatever appeals to you most. Mage is THE hardest style to play as in NotR because of the asinine balancing in terms of money and skill points so pick that if you've any intention to play again in your life.Mage path has most "oh wow" moments for me. It's different and refreshingly so.Paladin is you LARPing as muh knighthood with magic support and excellent armourMercenary is funny with how people react to you wanting to get paid to save the world and works off some G1 nostalgia if you played it and liked the New Camp folk. Least magic support of all but afaik best armour and you can just use scrolls for what's missing.
>>12690314Mercs or Paladins. Fire Mages are hard on NOTR and not recommended for the first playthrough but it could be ok on vanilla
