I'm about to play the og Tomb Raider games for the first time, what am I in for?The only TR/Lara Croft thing I've played before were 2013 and Rise.
Play the remasters. They are much needed improvements over the originals that are garbage jank best left in the 90s. And yet you'll still see retards flock to their defenses.

Personally I would suggest playing the originals first, or if you play the remasters, use both the original graphics and the original controls. Play it on PC since having free saves alleviates a lot of the trial and error (even if the original save systems for 1 and 3 made for heightened tension more engaging)>b-but clunky controlsControls are fine. Game is made with them in mind. PLAY THE TUTORIAL and learn the rules that govern Lara's jumps. This is not optional. Have fun.

Assuming zoomershit - try Croft Manor first to learn the controls and see how things work in practice. If you can do the whole obstacle course in TR3 under 2 minutes, you are ready to play the game, since you not so much learned the controls, but understand how they actually work - the mastery will come with simple practice and playing.
