Which JRPG town would you choose to live in?
You want to live in a rainy rundown dump of a city?I'd want to live in Mysidia so I could be raised as a mage.
>>12692587>You want to live in a rainy rundown dump of a city?Maybe he's British
>>12692587You'd want to live in Mysidia because little girls only get a torn napkin to wear there
>>12692565It's like they sayLive in Zozo once, but leave before it makes you hard. Live in Figaro Castle once, but leave before it makes you hard.
Besaid Island.
Fletz, home.
>>12692565Why the FUCK would you want to live in Zozo?
>>12692604>Britishyou mean american?
>>12692565zozo might be fun for a weekend bender but i sure as fuck am not living there

>>12692565i gotta check my SaGa screenshots. The Junk and Scrap bars look pretty KINO.Manhattan looks rice too. not the shitty USA edition.https://fantasyanime.com/saga/sagamaps.htm
Honestly Onett has the best setup for a place to live.>working electricity and water>has police force, hospital, and a library>also has burger joint and an arcade>near the ocean so you can go fishing>nearby other towns so you aren't out in the middle of nowhere>at the same time not too deep in civilization that you can't find woods big enough to camp in>next town over has a small shopping mall and flea market plus a theater and pizza joint that delivers to OnettHow many retro JRPG towns have that many nice features?
The snowy town next to the holy palace.
>>12693084Go live in pretty much any small town in Canada and you'll have the same experience. Try Louisburg, NS or Lunenburg or something.>>12692565Kingdom of Zeal would've been an amazing place to live before shit get wreckt
>>12693115>Go live in pretty much any small town in Canada and you'll have the same experiencebut then you'd be in canada
>>12693121Oh no! Safe streets and free healthcare!
>>12693124Here's your free health care!>Leathal injects you
>>12693024I know Koorong would be shit, but I always liked hanging out there in the game. As far as SaGa Frontier regions go, Shrike or Kyo are probably my ideal places to live in. Manhattan would be fun, but like the real Manhattan, probably more fun to visit than live in. Not a fan of living in big cities. Shrike reminds me of my actual home, only our bio research lab doesn't have monsters (yet).Choosing any specific town is secondary to choosing a JRPG world. I'd pick some nice Pokemon town like Fuschia City just so I could live in the Pokemon world. Or anywhere in a relatively safe world where I could get magic (like >>12692587) or other superpowers. For this thread, maybe it's best to just stick to the towns themselves as much as you can separate them from all that. So I'd go with Shrike.>>12693084Yeah, Onett is about the right size. Not in the middle of nowhere, but not crowded either. I don't want to live in a big city, but also not anywhere so small that everybody knows and gossips about you.
>>12693115>Kingdom of Zeal would've been an amazing place to live before shit get wrecktUntil you trip and fall off the edge

>>12692565When I was a kid, I got stuck for weeks in the first part of Zozo, cause I didn't find a spot where you jump between buildings. It just didn't seem like something to do. Maybe the game tells you, but I didn't know English well enough. Or I rechecked a playthrough and it seems like there are some NPCs doing the jumping. Guess I didn't get it back then. But I barely had other games to play, so I kept grinding in FF6. Then one day I found the jump. But I can tell you I did find everything in WoR, even Gogo and Umaru. Except Shadow, I did miss saving him, the game makes it really seem like you need to get out ASAP on the Floating Continent.Again, as a kid I had a forever to play, so I simply went literally everywhere and tried everything.Good memories.

>>12693129For posters like you, it would certainly help to clean up this board
>>12692565There are too many, but my preferred jarpig location to live in would be Saga Frontier 2's Weissland.>Covered by snow all year long.>Comfy fireplaces indoors powered by attuning to elemental magic.>Ruins not too far away where you can dig up artefacts.
>>12693129oh no! someone in chronic debilitating pain wants to end it all! how dare they have agency over their own lives and end it on their terms!besides it beats suicide by cop, the tried and true shart way lmao

>>12693294You're so offended butthurt by the mean joke that you desperately looked up a picture of some run-down (clearly abandoned) buildings from Detroit to save face. You got teased for this, and immediately resorted to 'uhhh tranny <trollface from 50 years ago>.png'.If you're going to try so hard to banter, you can't make an obvious blunder like thinking that urban blight porn from Detroit is going to offend Americans.Bongs were once pretty good at bringing the bantz but this is really pathetic, Nigel.
>>12693889u mad bro?
>>12693860why does san francisco look like africa?
I always found Bandora from Radia Senki to be weirdly cozy even though it's an abandoned town in the middle of flames
>>12693915because it was conquered by people who could build with bricks
There's too many choices. maybe Goldenrod from silver/gold, it's a "big city" but also close to ecruteak and a parkmost of the towns in Grandia were very attractive.Port town of Parm, final answer. New Parm has the spicy food but I don't do tropical weather
>>12692565Figaro all day erry day>cool ass castle made with cutting edge technology>more bitches than grains of sand in the desert>king is mega basedOnly downside is the fact that it's in the middle of the desert.
