May I ask, what's the difference between still using an Sd2Snes vs the latest FXPAK pro?My super everdrive died and I wanted to upgrade to the ones that can play almost all games and I don't care for that Tengai Makyou RPG
The only real difference I can see is that FXPak Pro can run MSU-1 versions of games that have enhancement chips. So you couldn't play Yoshi's Island or MMX2 or X3 with CD audio.
OP, make sure to read this if you have a 1/1/1 chipset SNES. https://consolemods.org/wiki/SNES:Scrambled_Screen_Issue
>>12695806The older SD2SNES prior to Rev.H will have difficulty with S-DD1, SuperRT, MSU-1, and SA-1+MSU-1 games. Be aware the "Rev.X" pictured is a Chinese scam as revisions past H are supposed to be FXPAK. It may seems like there isn't much lost, but you may miss out on games like BS Zelda or other new ambitious fan releases. With any Chinese product, there are likely sub-standard components and materials used in production which may cause long term damage to your console and/or your health. I highly recommend you get a FXPAK as SD2SNES is no longer produced.
