Live & Reloaded was really good for a remake especially the online multiplayer and all the control upgrades. I hated the extra censorship though, and the Mighty Poo's song goes out of sync which ruins it.

you know what op means, the xbox version of it is on pc.

Live & Reloaded took away all the different multiplayer games and stuck you with boring war shit only. And the censorship. Nah, not a fan.

Now that it's on PC there will be mods to remove the bleeps I'm sure.

That cpu is good but sadly xemu fag devs went "just latest shittier version of windows 10 and ohh muhh high accuracy" but someone made unofficial win 7 build along less acuracy for more speed of xemu and you can drop requirements by half (yes that's your shitty windows 10/11 eating more then half resources).

I have good memories of playing Fusion Frenzy 2 with my mates in our grotty student house. It was a good party game because you could just pass the controllers around while getting wasted and even the folks who didn't play games could manage it. Helped that everyone was on one screen too, playing 4 way split screen Cod4/MW2 was ridiculous on the little CRT I had at the time. Can't imagine why anyone would want to play it alone on their PC though.

xemu is the shittiest emulator in existence. 90% of the games still have massive issues, and the rest don't work at all.
>>
>>12710696
>xemu is the shittiest emulator in existence
Its less of an emulator and more of a low level virtual machine which is why its performance is so shit
>>
>>12708762
I'm surprised I don't see a lot of people calling out this nigtastic doublespeak for what it is. This is a PORT, not "backwards-compatible!" They had me excited I can use my old Xbox copies and drop the old hardware, which is what "backwards-compatibility" is! Holy shit. Microsoft would've had such an easy win over Sony if it actually did that, not redefine terms!

Halo 2 on the Master Chief Collection has a weird issue where foliage would be missing on Nvidia cards and it took Microsoft literally years to fix it.

>>
>>12712160
Anything with xinput works, if you're a faggot and using a Playstation/Switch controller, then there are fan made xinput wrappers for those. DS4Windows or whatever. Otherwise any chinkshit 8bido is fine, you don't need to buy an actual Xbox controller, this is the beauty of the xinput standard, all xinput controllers are made equal.

I don't know if this is a joke or not anon, but >>12710968 Microsoft is turning "backwards combatibility" into a marketing buzzword. You won't actually be playing the software you already own on new hardware. This is more like an emulation wrapper or compatibility layer.

>>12712369
Xbox controllers are quite shitty in the end add insult to injury with xinput and is clearly an issue because limited ammount of controllers at once along max buttons per joystick.
>dinput 32 buttons plus analig sticks, 16 controllers connected at top.
>xinput 4 controllers connected at top.
>>
>>12712509
Isn't that what's expected already, since architectures change with newer instruction sets, there has to be some sort of compatibility wrapper to translate the old code for use in newer systems. In addition, there's benefits such as higher more stable framerates, greater native resolutions, faster loading, auto-HDR, etc. with FPS boost and enhancements optimized for newer hardware.

>>12712510
I haven't gotten to some games, but rest assured I will get to them. There's lots of Xbox games which I fancy.

>>12714519
I appreciate the options. Now not only could I play my discs on my own hardware, but could also take them over to my friends which may be running on Microsoft's OS and enjoy them there. The competition is good, with official and unofficial ways to play.

>>12715472
I don't have that much, but I hope to one day. The Xbox games made a lot of good memories and experiencing them back then and into the future is one reason amongst many why we prefer to own our games.
>>
I think this is great. The stuff I bought on PS3 and PSP isn’t compatible anymore, but Microsoft is making digital Xbox games backwards compatible with Windows. On PlayStation, you have to pay again for things you already bought, and Nintendo doesn’t even sell them, only offering some as rentals through NSO.

What Microsoft is doing is admirable, I can’t wait for NGB and NGII. It’s sad to think about all the games we might miss, like PGR due to licensing, but they’re still the best bc program of the three big console manufacturers right now.
>>
>>12716379
>but Microsoft is making digital Xbox games backwards compatible with Windows.

Xbox was always running Windows. This was just locked to the Series X hardware until now.
>>
>>12716383
>Xbox was always running Windows
Kernel != Operating System
>>
>>12716379
>>12716383
Reminder that the Xbox One and Series X are unhackable. PS4 and PS5 have been hacked for years lol
>>
>>12716397
There's just no interest in hacking them since you can already install emulators on them without installing custom firmwares.
>>
>>12716321
>Isn't that what's expected already,
If you have to rebuy the game separately, then "backwards compatibility" is really stretching it. You might as well say any digital download of an older game is "backwards compatibility."
>>
>>12714873
that makes me fear what games they'll actually bring to pc though, iirc only about 70 games are bc on xbone / series
>>
>>12716397
>>12716456
Xbox One is already hacked
Xbox One games can already be dumped and decompiled
Xbox One games can be already emulated (XWine1 compatibility layer, actively developed, already runs a few games)

What Microsoft released here is a PC port of their emulator-in-emulator (XBOne running a software emulator of the Xbox 360 running its backwards compatibility with XB games) that had like 60 games released on XBOne. It wasn't perfect emulation and some games had prepared shader cashes to fix performance issues.
Some components of the XWine1 project can be used to inject those 60 games in this new PC version with varying success.

As for XBOne games not on PC, compared to X360 and XB there's very few of them and I could see fans only doing fan ports of the rare exclusives then stopping. For XB Series the number of exclusives might be an actual zero, not counting console variants of games with very minor changes.
