Surprisingly, the campaign wasn't that hard. Solid experience. Nice way to cap off the PS1 era of Crash after the brutal platforming trilogy (don't see a point in playing Crash Bash solo).If it didn't have a dedicated single player mode, would it still be better than Mario Kart 64, /vr/?

>>12710654It would depend on who you play, MK64 shines because anyone can play it regardless of skill-levels and it's randomness allows to stir things up, CTR though? it can get very one-sided between the one that just races, the one that uses drift boosts and air boosts and the one that does all the tech & shortcuts.

>>12710661It's incredibly fun. Really pushes you to the next level and will likely redefine how you look at the game. Highly recommend going for platinums (it's not as hard as you think, the key is getting all time crates.)With how rich the time trial content is it's basically the second half of the game.

Decided to clear CTR like OP tonight, intending to do relics/tokens next.38% doesn't sound very clear but I did just beat Oxide, so the game is barely over 1/3rd done! They really wanted you to get back in there and do everything. It's telling how many levels are null grey dots on the map that tell you that you're missing out on stuff to do. I've completed every challenge in CTR in the past so I'm aware of how much meat it is, but it's nice to see the developers were also telling you to do that stuff too, you didn't even see half the game.

I got a little sloppy but still hit platinum time after the bonus (I was 1 sec over before bonus.)One of the greatest tracks in the genre, and the first great track of the game.
