Considering they "inherited" the project and probably had to reverse-engineer Ancient's engine, the game plays remarkably similar to the first one, but yeah, just not as good.Chaos isn't bad, but for me it's just a little too awkward and sloppy to be credibly on the same tier as the first game; by that time the system was already doomed by developers trying to focus on showy graphics rather than making the most of the strengths of the system.
