I think games should be reevaluated in quality every ten years. It doesn't make sense for retro games to maintain a score that was only relevant for the era as more games continue to come out that surpass them in every way.

That reminds me that Big Rigs used to have a Metacritic score of 8/100 but because of a review from a year ago it dropped to 6
