A few years ago I switched to mostly playing retro games because it's the only way to get a decent conversation out of someone when you wanna discuss video games. And even then there's only so many people playing specific games at specific times to where it all lines up that they see a thread and wanna jump in and have a back and forth with you. Thoughts on The Legend of Dragoon?

Replayed it last year. Was pretty good. I feel like the game needs more songs because it plays the same songs so often. I really like the addition system, it took a while but I did get good with all the inputs

I was pleasantly surprised the music was as good as it was, I think I heard somewhere it was the guys first time making music for a game.

A fun, nostalgic game for me. I remember playing the demo for it back as a kid and really wanting the game. Eventually I got it much later in life, and its alright. Lots of cool mechanics, but it feels very imbalanced. Dragoons are cool but useless, additions can make or break a character, and speed is way too good of a stat to ignore. I replayed it a few years back to try out new things, but ended up going back to the old ways.
