two more weeks
>>12714370In 2030.Though you'll have much bigger problems to deal with than wanting to buy vidja games on the the cheap
>>12714424Elaborate, what happens in 2030? And what makes you think the bubble gon pop?
>>12714370When the gen x starts to die, so you have to wait at least until the 2050's.
>>12714440What makes you think that the millennials and zoomer relatives of the gen X's aren't aware that retro games are expensive and sought after? I'd even say most collectors are millennials and zoomers, not gen X
>>12714370at full force in her mouth pussy and ass
>>12714476This.
>>12714476and break neck when I’m done (le men of culture assemble)
>>12714370>joined /vr/You should go back.
>>12714370Should I sell off my collection before the bubble pops?
>>12714370Limited supply will always prop this market up
>>12714370It's been on a steady decline for two years.
>>12714949I wish
>>12714370The corpse is rotting but hoarder collector sheep put insane efforts to create the illusion "everything is fine".>paprium emu core : stopped because legality and "compatibility issues".>old emus : taken down because "obsolete".>new emus : behind paywalls and needing next gen PC to run snes and megadrive games >roms archives : no issue on leaving the old roms, rom from new unlicensed games got fully removed without reason (despite being available before). All those have in common collector practices, new unlicensed games are removed because hoarders cry about the game losing commercial value, old unlicensed games that got english patched and had a limited release they aren't available (original, english patch or dump), "new" shit sold on steam is avoided by rom sites because collectors will cry about company losing money, and you see lot of cases.
>>12715069My pricecharting value has slowly been leaking about 1-3% for the last few years.
Even rappers noticed.
>>12715494>Kenan and Kel>Rappers
>>12715508all darkies are rappers
>>12715494Keenan's the guy who used to do his Celebrity Jeopardy style Bill Cosby thing a bunch on TV. Don't know if he still does it, or if all that stuff about Bill Cosby ruined it for him or whatever.
>>12715487Maybe because it reached unprecedent peaks during the covid confinment? But that doesn't mean the bubble is popping, prices are still high
>>12715508They were the fresh prince and jazzy Jeff of white people
there wasnt even a "bubble" 10 years ago. It was 2020 that everything exploded and games like Silent Hill became $200+ titles.
>>12716957Depends on your definition of bubble I guess, but prices were definitely high before 2020, i remember being surprised at prices around 2010 at least, having been collecting since 2002.
>>12714370I think it maybe would have popped by now if:1. Our overlords weren't obsessed with consumers owning nothing and being happy. Physical media is being phased out by design. Thus creating a scarcity2. Our overlords being obsessed with staffing vidya companies with whammin. Past a certain percentage, a game company can't survive whammin designers making everything woke and bad. Thus making retro games hold their value.3. Similar to two, other entertainment industries are seemingly incapable of doing their job anymore. They can only churn out woke slopaganda, thus making retro games hold their value. Vidya companies used to be able to feed off of pop culture, Hollywood, comics, and literature. Games like Contra are basically Rambo and Arnold team up to kill Aliens. Tekken had several characters lifted straight from movies. etc.Marvel Rivals is able to be successful because they are trying to ignore the last 20 years of comic developments.
It's going to get worse in the near term. The death of physical games will eventually start to become a thing that normal people notice. It doesn't take many of them to decide "Wow I NEED to collect physical games right now!" for it to affect the market in a big way. Just a few thousands of people becoming overnight "collectors" will do it.
We will see some correction from covid prices but not much. The modern game industry is shitting itself and more and more people are getting into retro games. Even Zoomers are collecting vinyl and retro games.
>>12716940You aren't going to get a collapse, just a slow deflate.
>>12717052Our age of plastic is collapsing.
>>12716974Prices were climbing over time, yeah, but then shit like WATA buttfucked the market.
>>12714434Ayatollah bans Vidya worldwide
>>12714370This asian bitch again?
>>12714370Hey that's the chick who did the Demon's Souls promo
This is a piece of paper that doesn't even play video games, in a cheap plastic shell.
>>12714370Ironically the bubble has NOT popped on any Bubble Bobble games, a series famous for popping bubbles.
