Thoughts on Tetris The Grandmaster? Is the exam mechanic in 3 good or bad design? Favourite TGM game?
>>
/vr/ doesn't actually play anything legitimately hard, and TI is THE poser Tetris
The Third Strike of Tetris

Furthest I've ever gotten is S9 on TGM 2 ruleset. The GM requirements feel way out of reach for me. I don't know how I'd ever do the invisible if I ever reached it.

TAP is my current favourite. I wish they would bring back Doubles.
I love the series to death, but I still struggle with TAP Master's 900-999 stretch and similar speeds. TI's exam system is basically a coin magnet, but has helped establish milestones for the game, which is cool. I am glad the game has more modern exposure despite Mihara's stubbornness.

I like it. More fun than NES style, personally. TAP is probably the favourite among them. Haven't bothered with 3 as I'm not particularly interested so I have no opinion on the exam mechanic.

Hold is a crutch mechanic
TI is for babies

I can't get past level 10. Very little experience with Tetris. How do I into TGM?

The way people post around here you'd think they've 1cced every arcade game and are masters
