Is it good? I choose a black deck because the blue one had that stupid mondter that's infamously bad for requiring your opponent to have an island to be good.
>>12720407>infamously bad for requiring your opponent to have an island to be good.
>>12720407You playing in japanese or what?
>>12721150It got translated
>>12721272I'd since discovered this and loaded it onto my GDEMU, thanks for the heads up anon.
Which is the best starting deck?
This entire series is a scam to sell nerds cardboard for the price of a home mortgage
>>12723723magic is cheap and the actually people playing TCGs aren't speculating on cardboard, they're just playing the game.
>>12723753>>12723723The current Magic scene is a fucking joke full of lgtb nonsense and retarded crossovers with capeshit. At least this Dreamcast game will always be stuck in the Era when Magic wasn't retarded shit and took itself seriously.
>>12723764I don't disagree with you there; the franchise appears to be in the gutter, I just meant no one is taking out mortgages to PLAY Magic
>>12723764This, nowadays I'd rather play Yu-Gi-Oh! even if it's 10x worse than it once was, because at least it still objectifies women, as it should.
Tempest block was peak mtg
>>12723753>magic is cheapNot anymore. They sell official boxes for shit like $600 a pop on release day now. The players are also guilty of speculative investing. The entire community and IP has been corrupted by greed.
>>12726285Nah, that was when MtG started heading downhill, because the 1-main-set and 3-expansion sets in a block setup lead to the play testers not really caring if any particular part of the expansion sets was poorly balanced, since they'll just balance it out with the NEXT expansion set. It also forced a nasty change to Standard so that there was that rolling window of the last block and the current block overlapping, so sets had to also balance around sets from the last block, and a lot of times the sets would have cards coming out as responses to things that still hadn't been balanced from the previous block. Which would then sit in a weird limbo when the next block came out and suddenly important cards aren't anymore. Also, Slivers, which were easy-mode swarm decks were gay shit that made casual MtG suck ass. Also fuck Ensnaring Bridge, the Buyback mechanic, the Shadow mechanic, the Cursed Scrolls fuckery, etc.
>>12720407Any .cdi version for this? I don't wanna replace my disc drive with an emulator.
>>12720407I got hooked on Arena last summer and sunk about $1000 into it over 4 months or so. Best avoid.
>>12726652cdromance
>>12723723Nah, Magic is nowhere near the racket that the Pokémon card game is.
>>12727398I swear I checked there but I guess not. Thanks anon!
>>12720407>dreamcastis it just duels of the planeswalkers? Is it spaghetti coded like on windoze?
