What is the best Final Fantasy out of the original NES/Famicom Trilogy?

Even musically, it's where Nobuo really starts to get a hang on what he wants his style to be.As for talk about it, well yeah it had no impact because it just never came out in the west until the DS, 2 at least has the ps1 and GBA versions to have some presence in the west.2 and 3 probably would have been talked about more in general if they actually came out when they were supposed to instead of the localization for both being scrapped because 4 was already on it's way in the west.

The original.I beat every FF I-X and XII except for 2 & 3, dropped 'em halfway through. It was 25 years ago last I tried them, don't remember what it was, but I'm sure there was a reason.Fat Chocobo was cool though.

Have only played 3 NES but 1 is probably the best unless the NES version in particular is awful. 3 is great but the job system is a little too primitive and the game is too linear. 2 isn't good.
