Wow that was.... nothing special. We through all of it in 1 hour without thinking at all, the game gives you a skip boss button on every stage but the last one, but you already have a lot of extra lives for the final stage so it doesn't matter.I had a lot more of fun and spent more time playing through River City Ransom on the NES than this, one generation ahead, are all gen 4 beat em ups this shallow?
Some of the best music and atmosphere of the 16bit era. SoR2 doesn't come close
>>12727946SoR2 has the best music, SoR3 has the best gameplay, SoR has the best nothing
>>12727951>SoR2 has the best musicThe music in SoR2 doesn't even blend sound effects into the score like 1 does. Somehow they regressed.
>>12727946>>12727951>>12727963Really? I don't remember a single track from the game
>>12727843>Wow that was.... nothing special.thats every beat em up. people enjoy some more than others for various reasons but at the end of the day its a genre that isnt really going to wow you. you have some fun, turn the game off, and nothing is going to stay with you.
>>12727984play violent stormpick boris, specificallyother than cheesing a few early bosses (which is optional) i consider this a perfect game
>>12727843Now beat it on 1P hardest and don't skip anything. You may actually have to learn advanced strategies. If you're still a faggot after that, try SoR2.

>>12727843Not without cheats or savestates buddy. It takes a few playthroughs to know how to deal with the whip women and what enemies you can just jump kick thorough.>>12727951Different pace and smaller but more enemies for something different.

>>12727843Streets of Rage more like Roads of Mild Irritation

Don't get me wrong, SoR2 is amazing and deserves it's reputation as one of the best beat em ups, but SoR1 has a unique vibe that makes me come back to it probably even more often
