Two things1) I have a 13” tv made around 2006 with only one audio input. Sound doesn’t seem like it’s mono however. The speaker is on both left and right side of the bottom of the tv. Do tvs made in the mid- late 2000s output stereo with one audio input?2) any way to reduce white noise? I know it gets worse as it ages and I don’t remember it being this bad when I was younger. I am also aware it can’t be eliminated entirely but what’s a good way of reducing it?
There's a fucking general you can ask in, stop making threads

>>12728110No. Your television doesn't magically get the other audio channel. It is mono. Since you're complaining about white noise, my advice is to kill two birds with one stone and use headphones.
>>12728110No, stereo requires both white and red RCA. Mono only requires white. It looks like brightness is turned too high. Try turning it down with a compatible remote. Go to a dark setting in a game like SMB1 sewer lvls, turn it down until the black background is truly black then turn contrast up to your liking if everything is too dark. It's either the brightness is too high or or the tube is worn out I guess.
