>Trying to get the last Key Element in the Lake Ruins>Figure out if you don't grab it before the water is lowered you can't get it>Get locked out of second craftable swordGot a save before I started Lake Ruins, debating with myself if it's worth it to try and run through it again.
is there no guide
>>12752169https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ps/576111-brightis/faqs/80425https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ps/576111-brightis/faqsthere are numerous full playthroughs up on YT as well
>>12752169>>12752203Kinda nice to play a game where I have to figure stuff out.
Might be time I try to mess around with magic
>>12752820Better skyboxes the most PS2 games
>>12752525>played the game with a controller using 2 human hands you didn't beat the game
Has anyone made a normal, non-cringy translation yet?
>>12753359Yeah, the one that is out now.
>>12752525Neck yourself with your dead meme and offtopic post mike matei.>>12753589Exactly
Does anyone know where the third craftable weapon is?
>>12754905final dungeon, post of the anon who found out how to get it below for detailshttps://desuarchive.org/vr/thread/12703223/#12717824
>>12755076Thanks
>final dungeonprepare you anus
>>12755578Gonna tackle the last dungeon tonight after work. Am I gonna get wrecked? So far I've found the game easy
>>12755869not combat-wise, no. it's just vast and confusing, you don't know where to go and what buttons does what and then you most likely will somehow stumble your way into the finale. it's not particularly well designed.
Can anyone think of more games like Brightis? Off the top of my head i'm thinking Brave Fencer Musashi and Mega Man Legends.
>>12756995for ps1 the closest i can think of aregranstream saga (same devs)crusaders/warriors of might and magic deathtrap dungeon
>>12756995
>>12756995yeah but they're 2D, like Landstalker and Alundra.
does anyone know what in the hell the Seer Ring does?what unseen things are you able to see? i've put it on and run around but haven't noticed anything.
>>12756995Medievil, Blaster Master PSX, Blood Omen, Soul Reaver.
>>12758172maybe it shows you the hidden traps? have you tried that?
>>12758172Think it shows the invisible enemies in some dungeons
>>12758216i haven't run into any anymore. next time i do, i'll try, but there have been zero so far. you automatically see the traps in the Noble's Tomb.>>12758225i haven't run into any of those, either. maybe there will be some in the snow castle.
>>12758235They are in every dungeon.
>>12758241>They are in every dungeon.not remembering any in the Inlet or Lake.though i did beat those without even finding the map.
>>12758259I remember them in both but it's been a minute so maybe I'm wrong. Gonna run through the game again soon. I'm really liking it and it's crazy a game of this quality stayed so unknown in the west this long
>>12758172doesn't the item description state that the ring shows you things that are hidden by magic? i feel like i read that somewhere (might've been 2ch tho). does the game even say anything about something related to that anywhere else? i can't remember a dynamic like that ever getting mentioned anywhere.
>>12758268>it's crazy a game of this quality stayed so unknowni guess the reason we never got it is because of the Pocketstation stuff, because the game is totally fine. it would have sold.>>12758289>doesn't the item description state that the ring shows you things that are hidden by magic?this is all it says. maybe that other anon is right and it's for the traps. i'll try it next time i run into hidden traps.
>>12758391welp the old 2ch archives are inaccessible at this point so i can't look it up - not much would've come of it anyway. i'm fairly certain some anon just posted "lets you see things hidden by magic" and nothing else pertaining to that specific item.
>>12758172shows traps and hidden items without needing to go in to first person view, most are in the overworld but there were a few that i noticed in dungeons>>12758268when you get to the point where everything becomes dark, talk to the lighthouse guy and see if you can get his side quest
Does anyone know where Rifla (the little boy) runs off to? I know he was talking about ruins but which one?
>>12759093he's in the noble's tomb
>>12759096Thanks, his mom is just saying he hasn't seen him in a while. That is the start of the quest right?
>>12759096>>12759104He was on floor 15 for me. Speaking of the Noble's Tomb, is the loot on the levels themselves ever any good or what? Outside of the book and the kid I haven't gotten anything good yet
>>12758185>Blaster Master????
I got the Book of Loss on level 20 I think of the Noble's Tomb. Went down to level 40 and didn't get anything else. I'm assuming it goes to 99 or 100? What is the reward? With the Book of Loss I unlock level 3 spells right? Don't think I can get any more books as rewards?
>>12759316The 3D one, yeah. Adventure dungeon crawler but with a tank.
>>12759260both of the bonus dungeons have exclusive loot you can randomly get in them, i got a 55 dmg short sword in the tomb
>>12759362What level did you get that? Outside of herbs I got no loot by level 40
>>12759420i’m pretty sure i never went deeper than floor 24 in the tombalso got a black oni shield in the chaos ruins that was 55 def i think but i died with it, that was around floor 80-90
