What mods should a recomp of SotN support?
I play on PS1 as I have since childhood. I like experiencing games as they were intended, not through fanmade slop.
>>12759736But you could have MORE.Like full integration of the Sega Saturn-exclusive environments or a switchable moveset for Maria that lets you pick between her Saturn and PSP styles.
>>12759740That's not how anyone has played the game and if you try to talk about your experiences with those who played the real version, you won't be able to communicate. How long until you mod the CD loading hallways out because "every single minor annoyance must be fixed!!"
>>12759725None.
>>12759745You're still thinking it's a console game when it's not. It's a pc game now and pc games have always been subject to user modification.
>>12759725fuck off
>>12759725I have never really understood the impulse so many people have to trying to fix this game. It's brilliant as it is, I'd just be happy to have a nice quality native PC release.

>>12759725Could use some arrows pointing where to go. Oh, and one of those task checklists (always visible). But seriously, the only thing that really bothers me is the annoying fast-travel system. Having to cycle through warp points one by one gets tedious.

None
>>12759725Put Soma Cruz in it
>>12759725looking forward to rpg richter and more maria mods
>>12759725It's perfect already.
I dislike all the transforming in this game. All of it feels very clunky to control. The bat the wolf etc.
>>12759725It would be cool if people made their own maps, maybe with custom enemies and weapons, summons, etc. Basically a total conversion. Instead we'll probably just get shit like pain sounds replaced with memes and gender neutral Alucard.
>>12760132It would be a significant boost to its quality to fix the things that are weak/wrong with it, and there's a lot of that to be frank. I'd definitely like to see difficulty mods at the very least, it's insane how few actually challenging things there even are in the game as a whole. SotN is like the complete opposite of a perfect gem of a game, it's much closer to a heap of cool ideas thrown together into a mess, and that's ripe to be worked into something better.Having said that, PSX fans need to be realistic and face the reality that there's no way games like this are getting anything close to the decomp modding scene of what you have for the N64, despite how adamant you are that you want that. There's so much synergy that the N64 ecosystem offers that makes it far more attractive to modders, so you end up with way more advanced types of mods being far more frequent.
>>12759725Sex mods with all the sexy sex monsters
>>12759725Does it support the rape mod
>>12759736>Nothing is capable of being good if it isn't signed off by a Konami exec
>>12759725>>12759725>>12759725Whatever mods are required to fix how broken the game is.
>>12761789So the rape mod?
