The Genesis is mostly Arcade quarter muncher games that barely last an hour, although there are relatively many RPGs and strategy/sim PC ports, but it still can't compete with the sheer diversity of the SNES, yes it had a stronger hardware than the SNES, but it did not do much with it beyond have arcade games running better.
