What do you think about Metal Max games?

They are like SaGa games but without the interesting experimental mechanics so we just end up with kinda boring open world games.

Has these games ever received transalations?
I've only played Returns (since it was the only one with a fan translation at the time) and found it to be really easy and boring.I assume like most remakes, it's actually a demake and the original game was infinitely better balanced. I should look into the rest of these games now that there seems to be a decent amount more translated.
