>>12768198Realistically whatever you like my go tos for about 6 or 7 years now have been ps1 snes genesis. Lately ive been playing alot more gba and tg 16 but still kinda in that 16 bit 32 bit era. I like n64 alot. Recently got into amiga cd32. If I had to pick like two or three consoles itd just be snes ps1 genesis. Currently the only sixth Gen console I have is a homebrewed wii with a shitload of gamecube games on it. No longer do i have a xbox or ps2. Im okay with that. I also added a shit load of sega cd games to it. Thats it. It depends what you like all this shit is basically free now anyways as long as you're not making any money off roms youre good. Just keep having fun dont download two million games and if you do just pick one you like now and beat it. Pretend when you load it you personally just walked into eb games and spent 69.99 on that fucking shit and play it through

Even its 'good games' are either incredibly tedious or converge into being 3rd person action shooters so much of the time, and its multiplayer library has shockingly few fun couch multiplayer games. It threw away everything positively indie-like that let its predecessor thrive. It's unsettling how much less interesting it is to explore than the PS1.
