is it a stupid reason to not like using my gdemu because i love the disc seeking noise? it sounds like a printer its quite charming, like when in skies of arcadia you can hear the disc drive revving up before a random encounter ruining the element of surprise lmao. and it just feels so quiet and empty and soulless when i play on my modded dreamcast. the convenience is nice but something so insignificant is so meaningful to me and makes me wish i had a better working disc drive instead. am i a weirdo for this or does anyone who loves this console feel the same

I've never seen a Dreamcast with worn out rails or a dead drive motor unlike most other consoles from that era, so maybe they're just built like tanks and that's why.
