What's your favorite game from them?NOTE: any other answer but Dawn of Ys is invalid. But please try to convince me otherwise.I'm currently playing pic related finally and Ys I from Ys I & II Chronicles+ collection on my Steam Deck. I'm having a blast with both, but does anyone know how to fix the Roda Tree cutscene glitch on Ys I Chronicles+ (via Linux)? Before I applied the latest version of GE-Proton, the cutscene would turn into a black screen with music playing in the background, softlocking the game. Now that I've done so, the cutscene plays for like 1 second and then ends. I think you can't get the best weapon in the game, and this is the hardest version of Ys 1 I've played so far. Anyone know how to fix this issue?

>>12775273I remember getting Ys 2 Eternal direct from the Nihon falcom store because Ys Eternal was such a good remake. They gave so much extra stuff with the game not just all the stuff they had inside the gamebox (soundtracks, posters, hardcover manual, the old OVAs on DVD, etc.) such as stickers, folders, demo discs, and a PC accessories CD-ROM. Convinced me to go back and try out their new game Zwei!! and they still treated you well as a fan of their games. I think I like Ys 2 Eternal most as it really took advantage of some of the cleanest 800x600 graphics I had seen at the time. While the music is almost on-par with the PCE mixes, they were still just as good as ever. I hope to get a Steam Machine at some point if I could ever have the money for it, so I hope there is a solution to your issue as I'd love to play the games again.
