Reminder to replace the battery in your games guys. They corrode over time.

I wish it was easier to install battery holders into cartridges. It's hard finding ones that are small enough with the leads in the right place.
>>12777078Just get a 2032 CMOS battery for a laptop, snip the wires and solder them to the pads. No holder required and you can just desolder the wires when it dies in 20 years and repeat the process.
>>12777078Use these, you can still close the cartridge up with no resistance at all. https://a.co/d/03Kzsd9g
>>12777091Some cartridge types have more room than others.Somehow I was able to find holders for my gba pokemon games but not the gb ones.

>>12777093I'll tell you now, I was able to install this holder just fine with no issues of spacing when closing down the cartridge for the following games so far...-PSII-PSIV-BEYOND OASIS-WARONG-SHADOWRUN-SF-SFII-TRAYSIA
>>12777071But that would destroy my game
>>12777091Those are great but the tabs always break off when I bend them.
>>12777071Best solution is a supercap tied in with the 5v power rail.
>>12777107You act like 2001 and 2007 never happened.
>>12777405What happened in 2001 and 2007? Besides 9/11. Unless you're talking about 9/11.
