I played the vampire hunter d game on ps1 a lot.
I guess it’s retro at this point the fist of the North Star game that plays like dynasty warriors I really liked.

I love Yu-Gi-Oh games of all stripes.
Last I finished was Capsule Monsters Coliseum. It's easy but fun. It was ghost-developed by WinkySoft, who've made lots of great Super Robot games.
Ishizu is suh-mokin' in it. Yowie! Humanah-humanah. I'd smash her eggs any day.

Figuring out the fusions on your own while you play is probably the most fun part of the game.
I will warn you that even as the guy who just said he loves Yu-Gi-Oh games of all stripes, Forbidden Memories is not very good. The beginning of the game is pretty fun though, so I'd recommend just trying it and playing it blind, and not feeling bad at all if you bounce right off it later.

Aside from the combat I was pleasantly surprised by this game. Especially how it's a self insert story that isn't just sucking off an annoying self insert avatar. I'm still confused why they decided to have a number of optional scenes pop up at once and you can only see one per playthrough though.
