Damn, I lucked out paying $20 leafbux for a PS2 copy back in 2014. At this rate you may as well get the PC port with the fan patches or emulate it on your phone, its good but no game is worth that much money.

Retro games are still affordable doe. The small subset of scalpers and retard collectors can only flock to one niche game because they are in it for trading not actually collecting, owning and playing the games or building a library.

My local game store has wii games, ps2, xbox for like $5 a piece and they are a chain retro store.

I recently picked up 5 PS2 games, lego batman, star wars, socom and RTS game for $5.99 each. I walked out only spending $30. Thats like spending $2.50 in 2006 per game, bargain bin. Basically giving the games away.

Even if you take the most popular gamecube games like luigis mansion or mario sunshine for $50. Its still below MSRP. Its equivalent to buying the game 50% or 30% off in 2001. Its a used game so its still the same price it was back then in gamestop used.

I still don't know how I was able to buy a sealed copy for $39 dollarydoos in 2014. Even at the time I couldn't believe it. And it wasn't even just a case of getting lucky with someone putting up a single copy, the seller had multiple. I would have bought more, but at the time, it just felt like there was no way it could be true. By the time I got it, and found out that it was real, the seller had sold out.
Granted, it's the original release and not the platinum updated version, and it's also PAL, so it's barely worth anything. I still have that fucked sealed.

Bit of a stretch. It didn't sell well, had wooden voice acting, absolutely bizarre pacing, really lame combat, and a plot that makes, quite literally, zero sense.

The only reason it gets any love these days is because fanboys built a cult around it, youtubers did a bunch of over-reaction videos to the ending reading of Maria's sappy and melodramatic poorly written letter, and because nobody actually played the fucking thing, they all like to meme it as the scariest game ever, despite the fact it was only mildly thrilling and relatively early in the true "horror" genre of gaming at the time.

It's so fucking mid that anyone who says it's their favorite game of all time, is an immediate red flag that they have poor taste and have played very few games, or like to lie about having played a great number of games.

I sold my copy of special edition a few months ago. Britbong but i got it for cheap years ago. I think i sold it for 60-80 odd. People kept asking what postcard/sticker come with it which was the nurse. Feel like i might get flogged for this but I don't think it's as good as everyone says.

I found it a slog, felt too long.I do think 1 is better as it felt tighter. It's not even the voice acting as I love RE1.

I also got around 150/180 selling my copies of siren 1 and 2 which i got for super cheap years ago. One disc had weird mark on the bottom but still played. Cex had that off me for like 80-100. Made around 400 or 500 selling 'rare' games That i got for cheap when i was younger. Lollipop chainsaw and shadows of the damned got quite a bit for as well.

So easy to mod a ps2
