This is going to be the last OSSM UK thread, unless it dies before anyone can bump... also, it's not going to end concurrently with my current OXM UK thread, as I miscounted.What I'm saying is that I could post the last two issues on Friday as a double-bill finale, if people want me to.
Out of curiosity for your poll I'm checking a random issue of those magazines, and by page 13 of #03 of Saturn Power they've already mentionned 7 cancelled Saturn games (only 1 of which they knew was cancelled at that point, Tomb Raider 2); maybe even 8 if Heart of Darkness counts.Damn this is rough.

Secondly, the good news is that I don't plan on stopping these threads, but I will be wrapping up OSSM UK tomorrow so I can hopefully move onto more retro magazines...... that's where the bad news comes in.See, my laptop is kinda fucked right now (I can still use it, but it's a lot clunkier than usual) and I'm going to have to get it repaired. I've been checking out some magazine scans on gamehistory dot org (some of which I don't think were scanned in other places?) and the first issues of Next Generation are really good. I'm especially fond of issue 5 from May 95 which has a lengthy interview with the CEO of Sony about the PSX and its upcoming launch, hinting at them playing around with Sega regarding launch dates and launch prices (among other things); just before a 2 page news saying regarding the Saturn's just announced September 2nd launch; all while everyone was oblivious of the Saturn surprise launch the very same month of that issue.Later on there is a lengthy preview of Secret of Evermore with some CG renders and concept arts
Update: I'm going to have to hand my laptop in at a local store tomorrow, either for a repair or a replacement, I don't know which.That means I don't know when I can start posting the next batch of magazines; hopefully sooner rather than later... bearing in mind that Monday is a bank holiday.
