I used mine a shit load and thats inevitably why it ended up getting a scratched screen and chip on the unit itself, which now pisses me off so much when i see what happened to it that i can no longer bare to look at it.
Yes it got abandoned in the middle of its life because of piracy and the DS. I'm pretty sure high effort title like Gunstar Heroes sold really bad so the only games you saw near the end were almost flash game quality. I think even the Gamegear was supported longer and you can really see how the quality improved at the end of that.
>>12784474Thats not the GBA so
>>12784474No, I love it. But nowadays, I play it with open_agb_firm and the Wii U Virtual Console. M2 surely did a good job with their emulator.
Considering that the GBA's hardware persisted all the way into the fucking 3DS for compatibility reasons, I'd actually say it was overused in a way. In a way they kept making GBAs way up until 2020
>>12784474Underused for original gamesOverused for remakes and ports
>>12785406>2 incredible Metroids better than Super Metroid>2 Advance Wars>2 Golden Suns better than any Final Fantasy>Top Pokémon games outside the DS era>Good original Castlevania games>Amazing original 2D Zelda>Great Mario RPG>SMA4 eReader levels that are basically another entire 2D Mario>Best Wario Land ever>Final Fantasy Tactics>WarioWare>Rythm Tengoku>Mother 3>3 brand new Fire Emblemand on top of that all the SNES portsGBA was quite fine anon.
