Why is the magic gauge so large
>>

Its intentionally phallic.

i used codebreaker for infinite mp and it went off the screen ^-^

Larger gauge allows for greater precision.
>>
It's understated how much it matters to the player to watch their HP/MP gauges wrap around and then extend to the other side of the screen as they gain exp.

>>12787589
Looks about average to me. Is your magic gauge smaller than that?

As in why did Square program it that way? Probably because as suggested, it's satisfying to watch it grow, and I agree, I certainly like that more than the KH2 bar. As for why a player would maximize magic, apparently magic is the most important stat for high skill KH gameplay (I wouldn't know, since based on breif Proud mode experience, anything about standard difficulty on KH is apparently too hard for me).

hehehe

The size of the gauge is not important.
It's how you use it.
