>every character in Magical Drop is named after tarot cards>Lovers is represented as a 3 y/o girl and her pet pigDid anyone at Data East even bother to check and look up what that word actually meant?
>>12800723Sounds based to me
>>12800723FUB x loli
>>12800723hell yeah
>>12800723Pretty sure they just took inspiration from Cupid.
>>12800723That's either the pig's tail or belly button, where is she riding the pig in that picture?
>>12800723The pig is her boyfriend who has been pig-ified by a Circean curse. She's participating in the tournament to use the Magical Drop to turn him back.If I had to guess why they went with this design, it's because the Lovers tarot card depicts two people, but they didn't want to have two characters speaking. Each character's play area is vertical so if they wanted to depict two characters together, it'd be easiest if one was riding on top of each other. But then they both needed to be short so they fit in the screen. So little girl + cute animal becomes the solution.I think it's a great and creative design. I can see why they'd want to take it in a different direction, considering the Rider-Waite version is so explicitly Christian and they probably didn't want to step on anyone's toes religion-wise.
Japanese women must be truly vile when they grow up. That would explain why they are so obsessed with kids and teenagers. Sadly they exported this shit in the whole world and now you have little pedophiles all over the internet.

>>12800937In Magical Drop III in one of the endings she says she wants to speak with Mr. Piggy, who then transforms back into his true form, but she says it doesn't feel right, and so he reverts to a pig and is not happy about it. Then in the next game she wishes to be aged up but says it doesn't feel right so it's undone again.

What was the deal with loli and pigs in the mid 90s?
>>12801796Pigs come last in the zodiac, so they're associated with youth
anime feet are cute in general
>>12801703The Women's Suffrage movement started in the late 1800's to early 1900's was comprised mainly of widows, divorcees, and spinsters. So "unmarried hags" is quite accurate.
This thread isn't even a little about video games
>>12801867What exactly were you expecting when opening the thread with the barefoot little girl?
>>12801874I was expecting OP to be permanently banned so the board can finally begin to heal.

>>12801796you always had animal critters in children manga\anime, i dont think it's peculiar to 90s.
>>12801251Japanese women are hot. What does that have to do with fictional cartoon characters?
>>12801810I see, so it makes sense to associate young characters with them. Speaking of which, 1995 was a year of the pig, so they must have been popular around the development of TSS and MD3.
