There are some pretty cool CD games in this thing, but the HuCard games kinda suck for the most part.1MB size limit really hurt them in the long run, and it was all self-inflicted, since cartridges would be just as easy to produce, but NEC wanted to look slick so they picked the worst format instead.Besides Bonk, is there any HuCard games worth playing?
>>12801120The Street Fighter II HuCard went as high as 2.5MB. Honestly, I prefer the HuCard library. Bomberman ‘93-‘94, the Star Soldier games, Air Zonk, Legendary Axe I and II, Alien/Devil Crush, Magical Chase, New Adventure Island, Parasol Stars, Neutopia I and II, Dungeon Explorer, and Military Madness are some highlights, not to mention some high quality ports too (such as the aforementioned Street Fighter II). Plus, you get sweet chiptune instead of Redbook.
Checks out. My PCE library is 64 games, and only 4 of those are HuCards
>>12801120>1MB size limit really hurt them in the long runHow did the ignorance of a child born decades later hurt them?>Besides Bonk, is there any HuCard games worth playing? For you, no.
>>12801817>uhh... akshually there's no size limit if you use an internal memory mapper trickFuck off retard.
