What's the deal with south american fightcade players and their use of macros?I'm not great at fighting games by any means but I play offline events occasionally in Japan (I live there) against seasoned vets who are amazing and I rarely get a round. Yet the hues on fightcade hit frame perfect combos every time on a shit WiFi connection. Some combos are tas only because of having to use multiple directional inputs. I'm not mad or anything, I find it kind of entertaining seeing what kind of macro jank I will get hit with. But what satisfaction do they get from it? I seriously don't get it.

Also the tas only combos with multiple simultaneous directional inputs are a dead give away of macros. Not to mention the use of turbo button inputs. It's kind of funny.

>>12801347Locals run once every two months. The city is 45 minutes away, I don't feel like spending the money on gas to possibly get a game or two in if there is even anyone at the arcade. Fightcade is good for practicing whatever game they are running, plus I usually avoid the hues and play at around 5-8 local time to get domestic matches. The occasional hue match is entertaining because how obvious it is that they are cheating.

It's not just south american players. There are a handful of players from North America and Europe who use them, and the tell about it is they never, ever play ranked or use the chat window. Why? Hard to say. Guilt maybe, or wary of being called as a cheater by "name" players. They do enjoy occasionally sending a non-confirmatory :) message if you accuse of them cheating, as duper's delight gets the better of them.
