So today finally had the time to install my PicoStation and i have it working, it boots to the menu and all thats left is soldering the microsd adapter which is on its way, should be delivered this week.I used Megavolt's RC5 fork and I have some questions that i cant find much info about.1 - if i perform the overclock mod, does the console or anything get hotter or is there any risk of some IC dying from the extra stress?2 - how do i enable firmware updates from the microsd card so i dont have to open the console to update it? i found some videos where they say i need to flash one firmware and then create a folder named UPDATE on the root of the sdcard and it will automatically update from there but those videos are in spanish or huehue language and its not clear what should i do.any help appreciated.
If your games werk and play fine I wouldn't bother updating firmware ever again.
>>12802680devs are adding compatibility fixes and features so im pretty sure im gonna have to update it a few times.
>>12802704If all the games you play work, why would you bother mucking with firmware? You're just asking to break something that is working.
