indy, the magical kid for the famicom!
Can't win them all, at least we got Splatterworld

>>12803170it's crazy to think how much stuff we got in the past 15 years that seemed to be forever lost and unobtainable.the gold spaceworld demorayman for the snesdinosaur planetresident evil 1.5superman for ps1rayman 4 betas for ds and pcpokemon picrossakira on the genesissonic xtremeshantae for the gbaa bunch of virtual boy gamesthe make all gen 4 pokemon development documentary(almost) all of the japanese keitai docomo phone gameshalo megablocksresident evil for the gameboyriqa for the n64oblivion for pspand yet my mind always goes to the ones still missing, like fire emblem 64 and Wars 64. i guess the impossibility of playing them adds to their allure
>>12803168Indy, throw me the idol!
For me it's Off Zarken, which is probably about complete too
>>12803217
Yankee will not leak Nippon treasure.
>>12803201Dragon Hopper was my dream lost-media, but Wars 64, damn... N64 catalogue would be MUCH better with just a single game (e.g., SNES)
>>12803201Star Fox 2
>>12803341The things hoarders tell themselves
>>12803398sf2 leaked a loooong time ago
>>12803398hownew.ru
>>12803168A >>>/g/eet with blue eyes? I've seen it all.
>>12803341i hope the seller backed it up first at least
>>12803341Incontrovertibly based. Western insects have proven time and again that they do not deserve to experience Japanese games in any way, shape or form.
Waitu piggu GO HOMEDo not play nippon geemus they are not for you
>>12803341>resellAre these nips under the impression gaijin are copying jap games to make bootlegs instead of just releasing them for free?
>>12803201Now we're missing Earthbound 64, Twelve Tales: Conker 64 and Kimba.
>>12806019I don't know what this person might actually believe, because the odds of a westerner making a bootleg of what was most likely a generic JRPG, not to mention one based on a franchise that nobody outside of Japan has even heard of, are incredibly slim. That said, saying you're protecting it from bootleggers sounds better than protecting it from people who would share the data with everybody.
>>12803201time to add project dream to the list
>>12803168At least it's rotting in a japanese collector's basement rather than (((wata))) basements. That means it's 5% more likely to get picked up for a nip console rerelease with the original creators blessing
>>12805908>Western insectsRajesh, pls...
>>12808039>(((wata)))HMMMMMMMM...
>>12803574This.
>>12806019That's what Japanese collectors do. On the left is a prototype cartridge for the unreleased, not publicly available Famicom version of Love Quest. On the right is a bootleg cartridge created by the owner of the left cartridge, sold to his collector friends for an exorbitant amount of money.
>Indy the IndianReally, Miyamoto?
>>12812509Yeah, that is the funny thing. There are obviously Japanese protos of unreleased games that a lot of westerners care about, but I doubt that Indy is among those (outside of the novelty of being unreleased, of course, but even then, if simebody made bootleg carts, a handful would sell, but as soon as one was dumped, interest would almost immediately dry up). Splatterworld got a boost because of the bizarre factor and because Splatterhouse is moderately popular as a series, but random Japan-only Famicom JRPGs aren't going to be that thrilling for gaijin, and certainly not enough for people to bother to produce bootlegs.
