>>12805458All of them? Every single game thats listed as "playable" still has 7-8 different bug entries like "4th level doesn't load textures" or "major audio crackling when a gun is fired"its the worst emulator by far.
>>12805445rude
>>12805458It sees like 90% of them at least. Only like seven games are rated "perfect" on the compatibility list which in my experience means they boot up and you can get at least 20 fps. The retards who rate this stuff have rock bottom standards.

If I offer to fix your roof for free and it still leaks you won't go "he did it for free" you'll be pissed that it wasn't done right. I would honestly pay 5 or 10 bux if it means this shit would actually fucking work.
There's so few Xbox games worth playing, people might as well just get to work on PC ports for them than focus on a emulator

>>12805443As someone who just wants to play the graphically superior port of Burnout 3, I'm with you.
>>12806318Same thing happened with PCSX2. I remember it running at 60 FPS with no trouble back in 2010 when I had a PC with Intel Core2 Duo 2,2 GHz, 4 GB DDR2 RAM, some nice soundcard, don't remember what was it atm and a breddy good graphic card, Nvidia GeForce 4 GTX or something like that. I just remember it had no trouble running newer PC games' either. Then, years later, in around 2021, I tried to run it on a laptop from 2016 (not a gaming laptop but I installed a different, clean version of the system and tweaked it to get the most out of it). Nothing special, but the specs should have been easily capable to run an old game. Nope - I remember, that the very same game (but on the new, stable emu version that got rid of the plugins) ran at around 20 FPS. What the fuck? I saw no difference regarding the game, be it graphical or some glitches fixed - nothing. There was virtually no improvement, it was simply running far slower, to the point I had to tweak the settings in order to get as much frames as possible, don't remind me about tweaking the sound settings as well. What the fuck are they doing?! How can, the same game, run FAR slower on a NEWER hardware, which, regardless of it being a simple laptop, had specs FAR greater than PS2? Where is the gain of making it require more and more powerful hardware just to play the same fucking game as I did before? Only that now I require a machine that is many times more powerful than my original rig that was bought in 2008! I only added more RAM and a much better soundcard, as I was also using the it to create music, mostly trance and house (it had no hiccups either, and music production is a VERY resource intensive process).Anyone feeling like they are able to explain this to me?
>>12805443Did you get bored of shitting on PCSX2, tardboy? Xemu works fine on hardware of this decade.
>>12805527On your mom's work laptop, sure.
>>12805740Literal tranny argument. I could come to your house and kick you in the nuts for free does that make it an enjoyable experience for you?
>>12805458>>12806175>>12806394Post a video of a game playing at 60 fps on xemu, no stutters, no emulation bugs. You won't.
>>12806432No, look it up yourself, you retarded attention whore.
Is xbox emulation actually hard or is it a lack of interest? Also does the xbox series/xbone emulator have any issues or is it just the best way to play the few og xbox games that are supported?
>>12806472It's hard but hard didn't prevent PS2 and PS3 emulation from going into a playable state. With xbox emulation, you have to add bad devs, and the way they seethe every time you talk bad about them (yes, they browse this site) confirms it. They should shitpost less and optimize their emu more.
>>12806342One of the few reasons my 360 is still plugged in
Is SamSho V still unplayable? IIRC there was a bug that made all SNK 2D games play like slideshows
>>12805458I was surprised recently that Starcraft Ghost actually runs 1:1 with the stock xbox experience
I was originally gonna make an actual response to this but you're either lying, retarded, or both.
>>12806481It's funny too because PS3 had a unique architecture and that was a huge challenge for emulation but in recent years RPCS3 made huge progress. Xemu devs on the other hand choose to sit around with their thumbs up their asses and take patreon shekels for something that doesn't even work. I guess they're spiritually jeets or something.
>>12805443If Xbox was just supposed to be a DirectX PC in a console from 25 years ago, why is it so hard to emulate?
>>12806368>Same thing happened with PCSX2. I remember it running at 60 FPS with no trouble back in 2010 when I had a PC with Intel Core2 Duo 2,2 GHz, 4 GB DDR2 RAMAnd I am sure you would love it to still have the same compatibility as 2010 today right? The more of a system you emulate, and with more accuracy, the higher the emulator's requirements become. What a shocker. What the fuck are you doing with a Core2 Duo for gaming in 2026 anyway?
So, it's one guy salty making these threads nonstop. It feels like the anti-MAME ones (which were extremely retarded).
>>12806472It's definitely harder, but by far the bigger factor is lack of interest. The PS3 is much much harder to emulate than the Xbox for example but the emulation for that is significantly further along. Xbox360 emulation is pretty shit too, and nothing past that even exists while we have a PS5 emulator that is booting into games now, and of course we have had a Switch 1 emulator like 1-2 years into that console's life. Meanwhile there is no Tiger Game.com emulator outside of the very very very buggy and slow official SDK kit emulator from 30 years ago and a passing attempt in MAME, CD-I emulation until just recently was total crap, and some systems like the Hyperscan have no emulation whatsoever, even in MAME. Lack of interest is definitely a major factor. There are two Xbox emulators, they require the games to be in different formats (and one was someone taking over the abandoned project of another), and both perform poorly due to there just simplify being significantly less interest in them than systems by Sony, SEGA, Nintendo, and others that were notable like Atari or SNK and so. Outside of utterly forgotten one-shots like the game.com I mentioned, or the Pippin or 3DO, the Xbox has the lest interest by far out of the big ones.
can't some LLMtard do something good for once and try getting CXBX to work properly?
>>12805443where's your emulator anon?oh? you are useless? you haven't done anything productive in your whole life?
>>12806669
>>12806680can you and your reddit memes go back to wherever the fuck normie hole you crawled out from? thanks
We'll soon have functional PS5 emulation and XEMUtrannies will still seethe and dilate about people expecting them to make xbox games run in a playable state while trying to shame everyone who complains
>>12805443For sure. I switched to CxbxReloaded even though it can run less games.
I see pcsx2 schizo has moved on to xemu.
>>12805443I can't get Ninja Gaiden to run on this shit. It just gets tuck on the first loading screen forever, I only got it playing once and even then it was like playing underwater. JSRF plays okay though, workable.
>>12806669Well even though I don't know much about coding I could write a simple hello world script and that would provide the same level of xbox emulation as xemu.
>>12806601It's not unreasonable for anon to run old hardware if it still works. I personally hate to see e-waste being sideline because programmers and developers refuse to optimize something that already works fine.
>>12807759Yes I know, I am all for reducing e-waste, but you can't expect old hardware to keep running the newest versions of software decades later. It would be silly to argue that a computer that could run Photoshop 1 can't run the latest Photoshop anymore for example. PCSX2 might have kept it's name but it has very much changed significantly since 2010 in much the same way. That anon was acting as if it's the exact same software with the same compatibility and features but just ballooned it's system requirements. My ancient computers that could run ZSNES can never dream of running modern SNES emulators, but ZSNES sure as hell was not running those games correctly.Old hardware is best used either as a repurposed device such as becoming a fileserver, or to run software from that era that does not work or work correctly on modern hardware/operating systems.Reminds me of how Linux kernel recently removed it's support for 486 CPUs. I don't see how this is a problem, who the hell would be running a 486 system with a modern version of Linux? Honestly, I can't imagine anyone using Linux on a 486 at home outside of just as a one-time project to see if they can, that's generally something that would be reserved for legacy hardware in corporations. And if you have ever worked on legacy systems in a corporation, you know that they attempt to change/update as little as possible because the thing is well past it's expected lifespan and support window, and anything could possibly break it with no idea how to fix it if you so much as look at it funny, those things if they are running Linux are likely running a kernel that's from the 90s and are only there because they have not allocated a plan/budget yet to replace them, and/or are some long forgotten backend of a rarely if even never anymore used system.Basically, you can't expect an app from 15 years ago that worked on 15 year old hardware to still have it's modern updated version work on that same 15 year old hardware.
